The agreement between you and Tabard for using the app at app.tabard.dev. “You” means the business that has a workspace, and each member who uses it for that business. If your business signed a separate agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.

Who we are

Tabard is run by Alik Elimkhajiyev, in Astana, Kazakhstan (“we”). Write to alike010000dev@icloud.com.

The service

Tabard lets a business build interactive web experiences in its own brand with AI, such as quizzes, onboarding flows and lead forms, and publish them. It’s for business use only. Access is by invitation: we create a workspace and invite its first Admin.

Accounts and roles

Each member logs in with their own email, by a code we send there, so anyone who can read your email can log in as you. Keep it safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone else got in.

Every member has one role in the workspace: Admin, Marketer, Analyst or Viewer. Admins and Marketers invite members and choose their roles, and only Admins can invite or manage other Admins. The business is responsible for what its members do in its workspace.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Tabard to:

  • publish anything illegal or deceptive, or that infringes someone else’s rights, including a brand you don’t represent;
  • collect data you have no right to, or skip the notices and consent your visitors are owed;
  • build experiences aimed at children;
  • send spam or malware, or phish;
  • probe, overload or get around the service’s limits and security, or reach other workspaces;
  • resell the service without our written agreement.

We may take content down or suspend a workspace that breaks these rules. Where we can, we’ll tell you first and give you the chance to fix it.

Your content

You own what you bring and what you make: your brand assets, the sources you upload or link, your business profiles and your experiences. Only bring what you have the right to use.

You give us a licence to host, copy, process and show that content only as far as we need to run Tabard for you, which includes sending it to the AI models that build with it. The licence ends when the content is deleted. How we handle personal data is in our privacy notice.

AI drafts and what you publish

What the AI writes is a draft. Its copy, prices and claims can be wrong, so review each experience before you publish it. You’re responsible for what you publish, including what it says about your products and prices.

You’re also responsible for the privacy notices and consent your visitors need where they are. Tabard shows the consent lines and banners its visit rules call for, and we process your visitors’ data only to run the service for you. If your business needs a data processing agreement, email us.

Early access

Tabard is new. We provide it as it is and as available. Features may change or go away, and there may be downtime. We’ll tell you ahead of changes that affect published experiences when we can.

Fees

There are no published prices yet. Our first customers are invoiced by agreement, outside the app. You owe nothing unless we’ve agreed a fee with you in writing.

Ending

You can stop any time. An Admin deletes the workspace in its settings. It’s then archived for 90 days: nobody can log in, and published links stop showing their experiences. After that it’s deleted for good, with its business profiles, experiences, visitor data and members’ accounts. To restore it within the 90 days, or have it deleted sooner, an Admin emails us.

We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms. If we stop offering Tabard, we’ll tell Admins by email at least 30 days before, so you can export what you need.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if that is more. Nothing here limits liability the law doesn’t let us limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and disputes go to the courts of Astana, unless the law where you are gives you the right to go to court there.

Changes

We may update these terms. For a change that matters, we email workspace Admins at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using Tabard after that means you accept the new terms.
